FC Barcelona managed a comfortable victory over Olympiakos (3-1) on a wet and soggy pitch at Camp Nou in a game which was marked by Piqué's red card.
With Luis Suarez in the line-up, Barça were much better from the starting whistle but only managed to notch one up on the scoreboard with a Nikolaou own goal.
Despite their numerical disadvantage in the second half, Messi (61') and Digne (64') put the scoreaboard at 3-0 and in the last action of the game Nikolaou scored again but this time in the correct goal to allow the visitors a consolation goal.
Barça remains in the top position of the table with 9 points, ahead of Juventus (6), Sporting Lisbon (3) and Olympiakos (0). Their next game will see them face the Greek team once again, this time in Athens on October 31th.
