The Premier League game against Stoke City was special for Pep Guardiola. It was his 300th League game as a coach, after his first four seasons in FC Barcelona, three more in FC Bayern and these last two in Manchester City.
Guardiola’s record is extraordinary. Pep won 228 games (a magnificent 76% rate), tied 26 and lost 46. And his teams scored 775 goals, averaging 2,58 goals per game.
In addition, Pep won six titles, three with FC Barcelona and three more with FC Bayern.
Guardiola was visibly jubilant after the superb victory over Stoke City (7-2) that secures Manchester City's leading position of the Premier League. “I cannot deny that today was the best performance since I arrived here”, he said after the game. Congrats Pep!
