Borussia Dortmund's wait for a European win continues after an insufficient draw against Apoel Nicosia at their home ground (1-1).
Marc Bartra played from the beginning in a game which was clearly dominated by the German team, that showed a lack of precision in the box. Poté scored the opener for the Cypriots (62') but five minutes later Sokratis got the equaliser with a powerful header from a corner.
In the last minutes, Dortmund put on a much better show and went in search of the victory, but with no luck. In the last play of the match in the 93rd minute, Aubameyang and Bartra were very close to sealing the much sought after win.
Dortmund is the third position in the group with only one point, six behind leaders Real Madrid and Tottenham. Their next game will see them face Apoel again at Signal Iduna Park on November 1st (8.45 pm).
